The team at ADVANCED are excited to share some news about a brand new release we’ve been working on. Hot on the heels of the release of HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle, ADVANCED has teamed up with the crew at Crunchyroll to release a special line of drinks and merch in support of this legendary sports anime franchise.
ADVANCED’s Director of Brand Partnerships Richard Ng says that this collaboration gave the team an opportunity to express themselves in a new and unique way. “Our vision for the line was to immerse ourselves in the world of HAIKYU!!,” he says. “We’re designing the line from the perspective that we’re in the series itself. So Karasuno isn’t just a team from a series - they are our local team from Miyagi prefecture and we’re designing products as if we are in Miyagi too and supporting the school and volleyball culture overall.”
If you’re not familiar with the show, you should check it out. HAIKYU!! is an incredible series that we’ve loved for a decade and, of course, The Dumpster Battle is the first of two films that are being released to close off the story of Shoyo Hinata and Karasuno’s journey to the Spring Tournament. If you haven’t seen it in theaters, go catch a showing before it’s gone. You won’t regret it!
